Coach Tyler Amerman joins Forza Futbol Club

A native of Littleton, Colorado, Coach Amerman joins Forza FC leaving his position as the Men’s Assistant Coach at Fort Lewis College and previous role as the Men’s Assistant Coach at the University of Charleston.

Coach Amerman was a part of the University of Charleston coaching staff that helped lead the program to its seventh consecutive regular season championship, and back to back National Final Four appearances. Coach Amerman also has an extensive coaching background in youth soccer which he's held titles of Director of Coaching, Program Director, and Academy Director in the Colorado Rush, Colorado Rapids, and West Virginia Futbol organizations.

Tyler brings a number of strong qualities that will help continue to advance Forza FC. He has recent experience coaching in the NCCA II Final Four, and clear understanding of the commitment needed to be successful. He has strong ties in the Mountain West both as a player and coach in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC); which will be a great asset in preparing players for the next step in their collegiate playing careers.

As a three-year starter as a midfielder and defender for the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks (CMU), Coach Amerman played for CMU from 2007-09. The Mavericks began competing as a NCAA varsity sport in Men's Soccer in 2007. Coach Amerman helped guide CMU to its highest national ranking at the time (18th).

Coach Amerman earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado Mesa University in Kinesiology: Sports Management and his Master's Degree from University of Northern Colorado in Coaching Education. Coach Amerman is currently accepted as a candidate in the USSF National B Diploma Program.
