Program Overview
All teams will compete at the highest level possible, under the guidelines set by the UYSA State Competition Board and the UYSA Board of Directors. Teams compete against other teams from leagues & clubs throughout the State of Utah during the regular season (This could include Southern Utah). The season culminates with the UYSA/USYS State Cup. All Premier level Academy teams are highly encouraged to play in the State Cup Tournament. If you are not planning on doing so, please discuss with the Technical Director. Exceptions may be granted for younger ages that would not compete at regionals. The State Cup is optional for all Gold and Silver level Academy teams, but recommended if they are currently playing in the UYSA Premier League.
All players must tryout annually each May/June for the following season.
Based on age and level, teams will compete in 3-6 tournaments annually.
All Academy teams will take the name Forza FC and be listed like the below example:
Forza FC (Birth year) (Team Level)
Forza FC 94 Premier (1st) Team
Forza FC 94 Gold (2nd) Team
Forza FC 94 Silver (3rd) Team
Academy Fees are determined by age group and team within each respective age group.
Academy Fees will be applied towards:
- Club Equipment
- Scholarships
- Insurance
- Utah Youth Soccer Association Fees
- Goalkeeper Coaching
- Coaching Education
- Field Development
- Team Camp for U11-U15 Teams
- College Advisory Program
- Staff/Directors
- Administration
