“I’m sorry to say I’ll be cancelling the the 1/27 and 1/28 speed and agility sessions for all ages. I have been battling the flu through the weekend and want to make to sure I’m 100% before coming in to work with the teams. With the spread of such an illness being so sensitive it seems as though this will be best for all parties. We will hit the ground running on Wednesday and Thursday of this week and have a normal Monday - Thursday for next week.
For anyone who would like a refund for the missed session you can simply reach me at 623-330-8936. The alternative is we can also allow for the missed session to carry into our next training block as well. Either option works. My apologies again!

Forza Friday Fieldhouse Fun (Amazing Alliteration!)
For all those parents who have shared words of wisdom with their child prodigies like "It's just kicking a ball, it can't be that hard", we are giving you the opportunity to pull on your big boy trousers and show your kid how it's done.
We will be hosting a series of Parent/Player Friday night technical sessions where for 30 minutes the parents and kids will work together and against other pairs before the kids will be split into teams to play a mini tourney in the Fieldhouse. Should be a ton of fun and a great opportunity for parents to showcase their skills and also to learn some things to help answer the age old question of "what can we work on at home?"!!
Each session will be on a Friday night with a 7.30pm start. We will have water and pizza, but no oxygen, so be prepared!!

This winter Forza recreation will host a FREE program for the teams in the U6-U8 age groups. It will be called "Soccer Extra" and will feature Patrick Muhlberger, our Academy Director and owner of "BetweenThe Lines Soccer Technical Training" . "Soccer Extra" will be held on Saturday afternoons at the Forza Fieldhouse in Farmington. Your team will be scheduled to participate for a 45 min session a few times over the winter.
In the sessions, Patrick will run a technical practice for your players where they will learn new skills and moves and then the kids will play a game for 30 minutes. It will also be an excellent opportunity for you to get some ideas for your practices in the spring. The players will work on:
1. First Touch, Turning & Receiving the Ball
2. Dribbling & Running with Ball
3. Shooting and Passing
4. Competitive - Speed, Agility, Balance Games with Ball
Again, this is FREE! We plan to begin on Saturday November 23
Rec coaches are being asked if their whole team wants to participate and if they do not then any individual player can join in outside of his team!!
