Forza FC Recreation Soccer Program

Forza Futbol Club offers players from 3 to 19 years old the opportunity to play recreational soccer.

South Davis Soccer Association, d.b.a. Forza Futbol Club has been providing the youth of Utah with recreational soccer since 1979. The Forza Futbol Club Recreation Soccer Program continues to add to this tradition of excellence in our 38th year!

The mission of the Forza Futbol Club Recreation Soccer Program is to afford a safe, developmentally focused, and a fun play environment for youth soccer. The Program offers play opportunities to the greatest extent permitted by its physical, financial, and volunteer capacities, with emphasis on developing skills and having fun. The Forza Futbol Club Recreation Soccer Program encourages maximum effort, mutual respect, and competitive civility that are worthy virtues, which are to be encouraged among the players, coaches, officials, and participant families.

The Forza Futbol Club Fall 2017-Spring 2018 Recreation Soccer Program includes:

  • 16 + Games (Fall-Spring), Weekly In Season Practices (encouraged), Full Uniform (Forza Jersey, Shorts, Socks)
  • All Recreational Coaches are provided training by Forza Futbol Club Professional Staff
  • Free Player Clinics Prior to Seasonal Play
  • Developing skills and having fun, with less emphasis on winning
  • Small-sided games, so that each child touches the ball more often
  • Coaches have access to online coaching resources
  • Parents are taught proper sideline behavior, for a more enjoyable experience for kids
  • Electronic Registration and Email Notification
  • Well-organized league
All of our recreational teams are coached by volunteers. Forza Futbol Club’s direction is not to focus on winning or losing, but to place emphasis on the recreational aspects of soccer as a sport, and the quality experience it can provide for the players. This is fulfilled by building a player’s soccer technique and skills in a recreational program with a common set of rules, fun, and good sportsmanship.
